Douglas is a unique, progressive small town in SouthEast Wyoming between Casper and Cheyenne.

Last population count was 6500 but has surpassed that due to growth in mineral activity in the

area, ie: coal, gas, oil and uranium. Douglas is also a great agricultural town – voted one of the

“100 Best Small Towns in America”.

Douglas residents enjoy the Esterbrook and Laramie Peak areas in the mountains just 30 minutes

from town where you can enjoy fishing, camping, snow mobiling, hiking, hunting and refreshing

drinks and meals at Esterbrook Lodge. Glendo Lake is also just 15 minutes from Douglas , offering

boating, water skiing, fishing and camping as it is locted just off I-25.

Douglas has a good diversification in its economics and leads to a lively job market, a good

base for wages and low employment rates. Schools in Douglas are fairly new and have excellent

academic and athletic activities.
